Founded in 1996, Superior is a midstream company engaged in the gathering, processing and treating of natural gas. The company currently owns four natural gas treatment plants, seven processing plants and 36 active gathering systems, consisting of 651 miles of pipe. Superior currently has operations throughout the state of Oklahoma, as well as in Texas, Kansas and Louisiana. Tulsa based Unit Corporation acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of Superior in 2004. Superior has consistently provided exceptional service and reliable operations to the producer community. The company focuses on the acquisition, management and enhancement of existing gas systems, and the construction and operation of start-up, or “grass roots”, projects.
